At a charity gala to benefit widows around the world, Dan performed for the likes of Yoko Ono, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair’s wife Cherie Blair and their son Nicholas, Phylicia Rashād, United Nations Undersecretary Shashi Tharoor and many other luminaries. The event was held at the United Nations.
After the event, Mrs. Blair, who was extremely nice and down to earth, came up and insisted on a photo with Dan, saying that she thought he was “incredibly talented and funny”. A bit later, Yoko Ono, on the other hand, snorted rudely and left.
